Unauthenticated XSS via pagination parameters
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in MISP 2.4.169 allows remote attackers to execute script in a community-index user's browser via crafted pagination parameters. CustomPaginationTool createPaginationRules accepted nonnumeric page and limit values, allowing attacker-controlled data to reach page rendering without numeric validation. Exploitation requires a victim to load the affected community index; the documented impact is limited confidentiality and integrity loss in that browser session, with no availability impact.
