Network isolation bypass via ineffective iptables rules

Authentication bypass in Moby 1.12.0 through 20.10.23 and 23.0.0 through 23.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject Ethernet frames. When xt_u32 is unavailable, dockerd silently omits its VNI-filtering iptables rules, while preexisting administrator rules precede appended drop rules and can accept cleartext VXLAN traffic. Exploitation requires an encrypted Linux Swarm overlay and network access to its VXLAN port; injected traffic can interrupt service or bypass a stateful firewall through a container gateway.
