Code execution via use-after-free in ASM parser
Published Aug 8, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Use-after-free in Siemens JT2Go, Solid Edge, and Teamcenter Visualization allows local users to execute code via a crafted ASM file. The ASM parser accesses an object after its memory has been freed; Siemens has not identified the affected function or object. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and resulting code runs with the current process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
