Server file disclosure via external entity expansion

XML external entity injection in Siemens Polarion ALM before V22R2 allows remote attackers to read files from the application server filesystem. The OpenSAML 4.x parser configuration expands entity references and permits external entities and document type declarations in attacker-supplied XML. Unauthenticated network access and crafted XML are required; exploitation discloses readable server files without reported modification or service interruption.
