Unauthenticated token impersonation and privilege abuse
Published May 25, 2023 · Updated May 22, 2026
Incorrect security-token generation in CBOT Chatbot Core before 4.0.3.4 and Panel before 4.0.3.7 allows remote attackers to impersonate tokens. The advisory does not identify the token-creation locus or explain how attacker-controlled input yields an incorrect security token. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published consequence is limited to token impersonation and privilege abuse.
