Link-following in Zscaler Client Connector for Windows before 4.1 allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges. A privileged component writes or deletes a configuration file in attacker-replaceable folders without safely resolving links. Exploitation requires a low-privileged local user to replace a target folder and induce the privileged file operation, enabling arbitrary code execution.
