Open redirect via unsafe redirect_to_https call
Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Open redirection in SolidWP Solid Security 8.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect users through a crafted request. The redirect_to_https function passes its destination to wp_redirect instead of the host-validating wp_safe_redirect operation. Exploitation requires the HTTPS redirect path and a forged request; the resulting response sends a visitor to an attacker-selected site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
