Unauthenticated script execution via reflected input
Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Contest Gallery 21.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted request opened by a user. Public advisories do not identify the affected parameter or code locus; they attribute the reflected output to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-crafted URL, after which script code runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
