Unauthenticated object injection via unserialized list input
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in Gravity Forms 2.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary objects through a submitted list field. The get_field_input and legacy handlers pass the field's value directly to maybe_unserialize without validating or restricting serialized classes. A default installation is exposed when a published form contains a list field; further file deletion, data access, or code execution requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
