Authenticated database query execution via countdown ID
Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
SQL injection in Plugin Builders Waiting: One-click countdowns 0.6.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries. The pbc_save_downs AJAX action treats the pbc_down[meta][id] value as SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a nested SELECT SLEEP payload. A valid WordPress session with subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the payload provides a time-based SQL execution oracle.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
