Incorrect authorization in vantage6 before 4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to run algorithms through a numeric resource name. Server resource resolution accepts names or integer IDs, while creation validation allowed all-numeric names, causing one value to identify different principals. A low-privileged user who creates a numeric username matching an authorized user ID gains that user's algorithm-execution access, with related resource types potentially affected.
