Super-Admin account hijacking via exposed personal tokens
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Improper authorization in GLPI 0.83 through 9.5.12 and 10.0.0 through 10.0.6 allows remote authenticated users to hijack Super-Admin accounts. User administration lets a Technician view or generate a Super-Admin personal token, and the session API accepts that token as the privileged account's identity. Technician access is required; successful use grants a Super-Admin session and its privileged application access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
