Settings changes via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Marios Alexandrou Enhanced Plugin Admin 1.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings. The epa_options_page function accepts settings changes without valid nonce verification, allowing a forged request to perform an administrator-authorized update. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or submit crafted content, after which the request changes plugin configuration with that administrator’s authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
