Kernel memory corruption via concurrent buffer release
Published Aug 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera request management allows local users with high privileges to corrupt kernel memory through a race. CAM_REQ_MGR_RELEASE_BUF can unmap a buffer's kernel virtual address while another thread still uses the address returned by cam_mem_get_cpu_buf. High local privileges and a concurrent release are required; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
