Authenticated feedback submission via missing capability check
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in CodePeople CP Multi View Event Calendar 1.4.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to submit deactivation feedback. The cpmvec_feedback function accepts the feedback request without checking the caller's WordPress capability before sending it to the plugin author. Subscriber-level access is required; the bounded effect is unauthorized submission of the plugin's deactivation-feedback form, not calendar takeover.
