Administrator-authenticated shell execution via crafted packet
Published Mar 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Command injection in Array Networks APV/vAPV allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute arbitrary shell code. The affected WebUI and CLI accept a specially crafted packet that reaches shell execution; Array Networks has not disclosed the request field or code locus. An administrator session is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied shell code on the appliance.
