Cross-tenant resource modification via unchecked identifiers
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Authorization bypass in FIT2CLOUD CloudExplorer Lite before 1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify unauthorized cloud resources. The affected management API fails to verify that a user-controlled resource identifier belongs to an organization or workspace assigned to the caller. High-privilege access is required, and published sources do not identify a specific endpoint; exploitation crosses tenant authorization boundaries.
