User-assisted code execution via chained report flaws
Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
SQL injection and path traversal in Pimcore before 10.5.19 allow attackers to execute PHP code through a crafted Custom Reports link. The SQL adapter concatenates unquoted filter field names and sort directions, while CSV export accepts traversal paths and non-CSV extensions, enabling controlled query output to become a webshell. A user with reports permission must open the crafted GET link; the resulting PHP runs with web-server privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
