CVE-2023-28394Network attack vector

Authenticated OS command execution via code injection

Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Jan 17, 2025

Code injection in Beekeeper Studio before 3.9.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript and OS commands on the host. Public vendor and CNA materials do not identify the input, handler, or unsafe operation that permits the injected JavaScript to run. Exploitation requires authenticated remote access and user interaction, and successful code runs with the desktop application's privileges.
