Improper authentication in Intel NUC11PH USB Firmware Update Tool before 1.1 allows local users to escalate privileges on Windows. Intel identifies the affected locus only as the USB firmware installer and has not published which authentication decision or operation mishandles untrusted input. Exploitation requires an authenticated local user and user interaction, and successful exploitation can compromise data and service operation at higher privilege.
