CVE-2023-28376

Network service interruption via firmware out-of-bounds read

Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Intel E810 controller firmware before 1.7.1 allows remote attackers with adjacent access to interrupt network service. Intel has not disclosed the firmware routine, input field, or bounds-check failure that causes the out-of-bounds read. Exploitation requires adjacent access and no authentication or user interaction, and the published impact is a service interruption without data disclosure or modification.
