Administrator-context actions via stored login-page JavaScript
Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Stored XSS in Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager builds 15990 through 16340 allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript. The incorrect-login-details page retains attacker-supplied data and renders it so embedded JavaScript remains executable. No authentication is required to plant the payload, but an administrator must visit the page; the script then runs with access available to that administrator.
