System crash via unchecked zero-length I2C message

A NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel AZ6027 DVB USB driver before 6.2 allows local users to crash the system via a malformed I2C message. In az6027_i2c_xfer(), an address 0x99 message with zero length leaves msg[i].buf null, yet the driver reads msg[i].buf[0] before sending the USB request. A low-privilege user must reach the driver's I2C ioctl path, and successful exploitation causes a system crash rather than data disclosure or modification.
