CVE-2023-28323Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via unsafe token deserialization

Published Jun 30, 2023 · Updated May 5, 2025

Deserialization of untrusted data in Ivanti Endpoint Manager 2022 SU3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The ProcessEPMAuthToken method deserializes user-supplied token data without proper validation, enabling attacker-controlled objects to run. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation runs code as NETWORK SERVICE, enabling host compromise and movement toward connected systems.
