Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Raw Image Extension before 2.1.60611.0 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted RAW image. Microsoft identifies the weakness in its RAW decoder but has not disclosed the affected routine, malformed field, or unsafe memory operation. Exploitation requires a user to open or preview attacker-controlled image content, after which code runs in the affected user context.
