Buffer over-read in Microsoft's Remote Desktop client allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a crafted audio packet. The client processes attacker-controlled RDP audio data by accessing memory before initialization, exposing adjacent process contents. Exploitation requires a user to open an RDP session to an attacker-controlled or compromised host; the disclosed memory can support a separate code-execution chain.
