Local privilege escalation

Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025

Improper access control in the Windows Registry in Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 allows local users to elevate privileges. Microsoft has not published the registry object, code path, or incorrect access-control operation that makes the elevation possible.
