Unauthorized actions via cross-site request forgery
Published Nov 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Google XML Sitemap for Images 2.1.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions. Neither the CNA record nor its sole Patchstack reference identifies the affected request handler, state-changing action, or missing request validation. Exploitation requires interaction by a user with an authenticated WordPress session, and the resulting integrity impact is limited to that user's privileges.
