CVE-2023-28125Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via unauthenticated InfoRail registration

Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 29, 2025

Improper authentication in Ivanti Avalanche Premise 6.3.x and earlier allows remote attackers to gain server access through InfoRail. The InfoRail service accepts registration to receive messages without properly authenticating the registering party. Successful exploitation grants unauthorized server access and receipt of server messages; ZDI reports that user interaction is required.
