CVE-2023-28091

Sensitive-data disclosure via migration support dump

Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025

Information disclosure in HPE OneView 7.0 through 8.1 allows local users to obtain sensitive data from an appliance support dump. The Migrate Server Hardware option places sensitive information into the support dump instead of excluding it from diagnostic collection. Access to a low-privilege appliance account and a dump produced after server migration are required; HPE has not identified the exposed data publicly.
