CVE-2023-28090

Credential disclosure through appliance support dumps

Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025

Credential exposure in HPE OneView before 8.2, or before 6.60.04 LTS, allows local users to read SNMPv3 credentials from an appliance dump. The support-dump generator includes internally used SNMPv3 read credentials instead of excluding or protecting them from dump recipients. A low-privileged appliance account must create or obtain the dump; disclosure is limited to SNMPv3 read credentials.
