Cleartext credential storage in Sage 200 Spain 2023.38.001 allows attackers to extract SQL database credentials from an application DLL. The DLL stores the database credentials in plaintext, but INCIBE does not identify the DLL or disclose the extraction method. Low-privileged local access is required; recovered credentials permit MS SQL command execution and Windows privilege escalation.
