Proxy credential disclosure via unredacted appliance dump
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Credential exposure in HPE OneView before 8.2 and HPE OneView LTS before 6.60.04 allows local users to read proxy settings from an appliance dump. The support-dump generator includes stored proxy credential settings in the downloadable archive instead of redacting them. Access requires a low-privileged local account able to create or obtain a dump; disclosure is limited to proxy configuration secrets.
