Authentication-token disclosure through appliance support dumps
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Information disclosure in HPE OneView and HPE OneView Global Dashboard allows local users to read authentication tokens from appliance dumps. The dump generator retains internally used tokens and account credentials instead of removing them from exported support archives. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to obtain a dump; the resulting read-only exposure can enable reuse of disclosed tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
