TOCTOU in Dell Client Platform BIOS allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary code through a timed DMA transaction. Dell identifies the locus as BIOS execution during an SMI but does not disclose which checked value can be changed before its later use. Exploitation requires a local authenticated user, physical access, and precise DMA timing; success runs arbitrary code on the system.
