Improper input validation in Dell Client Platform BIOS allows local users to modify a UEFI variable through a firmware operation. Dell has not published the affected firmware routine, variable, or validation rule that permits the write. Exploitation requires local authenticated administrator privileges and can compromise firmware integrity and interrupt availability, without reported data disclosure.
