Administrator modification of UEFI variables

Improper input validation in Dell Client Platform BIOS allows local users with administrator privileges to modify a UEFI variable. Dell has not disclosed the affected input path, the UEFI variable involved, or the validation operation that accepts improper data. Exploitation requires authenticated local administrator access and permits firmware-state changes with integrity and limited availability impact, while Dell reports no confidentiality impact.
