Improper input validation in Dell Client Platform BIOS allows local administrators to modify a UEFI variable through local access. Dell identifies the affected locus only as BIOS input handling and does not disclose the variable or the validation operation that accepts invalid input. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator on an affected Dell client system and can alter firmware integrity and reduce availability.
