CVE-2023-28021Network attack vector

Traffic disclosure via weak cipher suites

Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024

Inadequate encryption in all versions of HCL BigFix WebUI allows remote attackers to read protected traffic through weak cipher suites. HCL identifies the TLS cipher-suite configuration as the locus but does not disclose which suites are enabled or how negotiation exposes traffic. No authentication or user interaction is required; confidentiality is affected, with no reported ability to alter data or interrupt service.
