Authenticated SQL injection via unparameterized query
Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
SQL injection in HCL BigFix WebUI API site versions before 14 allows remote authenticated users to issue SQL queries over the network. The API app inserts insufficiently validated input into an unparameterized SQL query rather than binding it as data. A logged-in WebUI account and user interaction are required; resulting queries can expose or alter limited data and interrupt service.
