CVE-2023-2799Network attack vector

Unauthenticated access via hard-coded login password

Published May 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024

Use of a hard-coded password in CNOA OA 5.1.1.0 through 5.1.1.5 allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access via its login endpoint. The passport login handler at /index.php?app=main&func=passport&action=login accepts an embedded credential, but public records do not identify the credential comparison or its scope. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; public evidence does not establish which account privileges or data become accessible.
