Remote code execution via unauthenticated report creation
Published Mar 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Missing authentication in IGSS 16.0.0.23040 and earlier allows remote attackers to create malicious reports through the Data Server TCP interface. The interface accepts an unauthenticated file-creation request and writes the supplied report into the IGSS project report directory. Code execution occurs only when a victim later opens the planted report with the affected Dashboard or Custom Reports component.
