Insufficient credential protection in EcoStruxure Control Expert before 16.0 allows local users to access protected project files. Schneider Electric identifies engineering-workstation memory tampering as the trigger but does not disclose the credential representation or affected process. The same issue affects EcoStruxure Process Expert before 2023; local low-privileged access is required, and the reported impact is unauthorized project-file reading or modification without service interruption.
