Heap-based buffer overflow in the ExportFile handler in HP LaserJet Pro printers allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The handler copies user-supplied data into a fixed-length heap buffer without validating its length, permitting memory corruption. Authentication is not required, but the attacker must have adjacent-network access; successful exploitation runs code with root privileges on the printer.
