CVE-2023-27897Network attack vector

Unauthorized function execution via permissive RFC interface

Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025

Code injection in SAP CRM 700, 701, 702, 712, and 713 allows remote authenticated users to execute unauthorized application functions. The BBP_PDH_PO_RESUBMIT interface invokes caller-selected RFC functions without enforcing the authorization required by each selected function. Exploitation requires a non-administrative account with common S_RFC authorization and can expose or alter non-critical data or interrupt the application.
