Authenticated internal resource disclosure via CMS injection
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SSRF in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform Web Services 4.2 and 4.3 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal resources. The web-services logon flow accepts attacker-supplied CMS host and port values and performs server-side lookups without restricting them to approved destinations. Valid BI platform credentials are required; successful requests can map internal services and disclose limited data through the server's responses.
