Authenticated code execution via permissive application interface
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Code injection in SAP SE Solution Manager ST-PI 2088_1_700, 2008_1_710, and 740 allows remote authenticated users to execute functions. The affected ST-PI interface invokes application functions without enforcing the caller's intended authorization boundaries. A non-administrative account with common remote execution authorization can read or modify any user or application data or make the application unavailable, depending on the invoked function.
