Service crash via oversized message length field

Out-of-bounds read in Rockwell Automation ThinManager ThinServer allows remote attackers to crash ThinServer.exe via a crafted message. The msg_7_35.flen field trusts a declared length larger than the available fdata buffer, causing a heap over-read and read access violation. TCP port 2031 accepts the message without authentication; exploitation interrupts the ThinServer service and does not directly alter data.
