CVE-2023-27851

Code execution via PHP-enabled ReadySHARE uploads

Published Mar 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025

Code execution in ReadySHARE on NETGEAR RAX30 before 1.0.10.94 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary PHP code. Lighttpd executes PHP beneath /webs, while ReadySHARE exposes user-writable files from /webs/shares, causing an uploaded script to run when requested. Network access and write permission to a ReadySHARE share are required, after which the script executes with the web service's device privileges.
