Unauthenticated SQL execution via unescaped rewrite parameter
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
SQL injection in Xpert Idea Xipblog 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through a crafted rewrite parameter. The xipcategoryclass and xippostsclass query builders concatenate GET or POST rewrite values into SQL without pSQL escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful queries can read or alter shop data, obtain administrative access, or delete linked data.
